At a Glance
The Mindfield® software BioEra was specifically developed for the MindMaster® EEG and offers you a modern and goal-oriented neurofeedback-training. It is in included in the MindMaster® EEG shipment.
Among other things, Mindfield® BioEra offers You:
(Caution, the software Mindfield BioEra can not be purchased separately, it is exclusively sold together with the MindMaster® EEG!)
- Creation and administration of as many users as necessary
- Diverse displays for training, variable levels of difficulty, from beginner to expert,
for all phases of the neurofeedback-training.
- Storage of all recordings and training-data in EDF format (therefore, all the data can be analysed and processed by different software-programs
- Evaluation of all data and recordings with the help of four different functions of analysis in Microsoft Excel
- Monitor with oscilloscopic views, average values, ratios from Theta, SMR, Lo-Beta, Beta, High-Beta, control of artefacts, standard deviation, control over learning efficiency, and many other things
- Demonstration of feedback on a second monitor for the user, with many different visual feedbacks (bar-graphs, puzzles, sailing boats, race cars, and many other)
- Acoustic feedback with volume-modulation, tones, and many others
- Integration of own video- and audiodata is possible
- Always adaptable threshold values and averages guarantee an individual and ideal, tailored training for particular needs
- Calculation of diverse parameters for evaluating the training
- EEG-recording with two channels, a raw signal and FFT (Fast-Fourier analysis with many adjustable parameters)

- Pentium IV or comparable, 2 GHz (Dualcore) at least
- At least 2048 MB RAM
- Graphic board with a minimum of 256MB of own video-memory, recommended are 512MB (no on-board graphic boards like, Intel GMA 4500).
- A minimum of free disk-space: 2 GB for recordings and individua video- and audiodata, recommended are 10-20 GB
- Display resolution of at least 1280*800 pixels, screen colors 32 Bit True Color
- Second monitor for displaying feedback (22 inch monitor recommended)
- CD-ROM drive
- At least Sound Blaster with compatible sound card and Stereo output
- USB 2.0 connection or faster
Windows XP or Windows 7 is basically always preferable to Windows Vista. When Windows Vista is utilized, it is necessary to execute some optimizations, in order for the program to work properly. An overview over these optimizations is available for all our signed customers at our neurofeedback forum.
