All accessories fit into this suitcase which guarantees for a comfortable transportation. The MindMaster^® EEG is mobaly equipped in combination with a laptop, e.g. for home visits.

Connection to the MindMaster^® EEG should be conducted via a high quality USB cable, in order for a trouble-free data transfer. For that reason we offer you a special USB cable with ferrite cores and gold-plated circuit points for an optimal signal quality. Scope of supply of the MindMaster^® EEG already includes one of these cables! Should you need another cable you can reorder one here.

For application with Sinter-electrodes a hose strap hood like this one is required. The hood S1 consists of a grid that has two 6mm Ø PVC- longitudinal and 6 3,2 mm Ø silicone- transverse- hoses. The two thicker PVC- longitudinal hoses can be moved transversely. The electrodes are clamped under the silicone-transverse-hoses. The chin straps (perforated rubber band, 2cm thick and 40 cm long) are each fastened to one PVC- pin on the large, drop-like ear-parts (71 x 50 mm).

High quality, sintered 10mm Ø electrode, silver-screw-cylinder covered with synthetic material, axial- and horizontal hole to the pins of a 2mm spring connector. The electrode is a screwed plastic link and is adjustable in height through turning. It has a beige-colored plastic link with two tube-furrows and a fixed, bended bracket. The electrode is shipped in a covered condition.
This sort of electrode is especially appropriate for the day to day work in a practice, since they are easily cleaned, leave no traces of hair, and resist abraision during constant use. For the application of these electrodes you require our electrode cable set for Sinter electrodes! The Brückenelektrode itself does not include a cable.

The DRL Electrode is the earth electrode for the MindMaster^® EEG. If you use Sinter electrodes together with the MindMaster^® EEG, we recommend the Sinter electrode with wristband, for attachment to the wrist. This is also a 10mm Ø electrode which is compatible with our wool felt covers and rubber rings. Application is realized in the same way as with a Sinter Brückenelektrode. You need one of our electrode cable sets for Sinter electrodes! The Sinter electrode itself does not include a cable.

OneStep is a novel mixture of skin purification peeling for removal of outer danders, and degreasing. Moreover, it has the effect of an electrolyte. The paste stays on the skin and does not require for removal. The impedance-data is excellent.
Our tests show that OneStep is good for operation in practices, but can also be applied in smaller measures. OneStep is a better alternative considering Ten20 and Epicont.

These 1mm strong electrode covers made of wool felt are moisturized and then layed over the sintered electrode-surface. Then they are fastened with the help of a rubber-O-ring. Not only do the covers protect the electrode-surface from mechanical damge, they also provide for an optimal contact to the scalp of the patient due to their common salt charge.

High quality electrodes are the most important elements of a conduction. These electrodes from Nihon Kohden are of pure silver, shielded and hundredfold re-usable. They are robust and demonstrate magnificent electrical attributes, which is what we expect from medically certified electrodes.
Scope of supply of the MindMaster^® EEG does not include these electrodes! They are applied together with Epicont skin purification paste and Ten20 electrode adhesive paste. A thorough and regular maintenance of these electrodes is absolutely necessary. After every application the electrodes have to be cleaned thoroughly with lukewarm water. For application in a practice, we advise using Sinter electrodes.

One of the most problematic aspects during an EEG conduction is the attachment of the electrodes to the head of the user. This procedure shouldn't be to time consuming afterall, but the thorough placement of the electrodes is necessary for a proper comparison with other measurements.
For this case, we have consultated a firm specializing on medical technology, that has designed a perforated tape hood, which is easily and quickly attached, has a good hold and is nevertheless low priced and convenient for application with the MindMaster^® and the silverplate-electrodes. Since normal neurofeedback purposes often require only the most customary conduction positions, this hood constricts the user to the 9 most important positions of counduction. (F3, Fz, F4, C3, Cz, C4, P3, Pz, P4) Many things are simplified thereby. The electrodes are placed in special fittings and then moved in the desired position. Of course this product is medically certified.
Scope of supply of the MindMaster^® EEG does not include this hood but a matching one for operating with Sinter-electrodes!

The electrical contact of the electrodes to the skin is provided by a conduction paste or gel. We have tested several different pastes and gels from different manufacturers and the conduction-adhesive paste "Ten-20" has provev to be the best, considering application with silverplate electrodes.
This electrode adhesive paste is applied and slightly masseged to the skin via a cotton swab or a wooden spatula. Thereby an optimal electrical conferment is warranted. Via the adhesive features of the paste, the electrode always stays in the right position. The paste can be cleaned residue-free with warm water.

Before every conduction, a thorough cleansing of the skin is urgently recommended. This cream degreases the skin and works like a peeling. Thereby danders that could interfere with the conduction are removed. The cream is easily applied and massaged with a wad of cotton wool. The cream does not have to be removed when the actual conduction paste (e.g. Ten20) is applied.

In order to place the electrodes for reference, attachment to the earlaps is recommended. Therefore, you will obtain two ear clips, also from Nihon Kohden, which are of course medical products. Simply inject the electrodes into the ear clips and then apply the paste for the electrodes. The electrodes should make a clicking sound, when properly attached.

To attach the fifth electrode which is the "DRL Electrode" you are provided with a wristband. The fifth electrode is not for measurement it is only necessary for the distinct enhancement of the quality of the signal. It can be attached to the wrist or the ankle joint, or anywhere else apart from the head. The wrist is recommended as being the easiest and most suitable solution. Simply slide the DRL Electrode under the attached wrist band. This electrode is an element of the silverplate electrode set. Skin purification cream and 10-20 paste should also be applied here.

The skinPure abrasive cream from Nihon Kohden is the strongest cream for EEG application. Often, this paste serves as the sheet anchor during poor impedances. We do not recommend skinPure for very sensitive scalps. This paste should also generate good impedances for inexperienced users. It should be available in every practice. skinPure is suitable for application with Sinter- and Silverplate electrodes.
